A New Feature Offered by Revit 2.0

The second release point for Revit focuses on productivity with new Dynamo workflows, enhanced view capabilities, and navigation tools that will allow you to fly through your model with the greatest of ease. It’s unnecessary to wait for the annual release if you have the Revit subscription or the AEC Collection, so start using new features as soon as they go live.

Launching Dynamo 2.3

The Dynamo 2.3 release, now available as an installed package with Revit, brings many new features. Dynamo and Revit can now exchange data easier and seamlessly with this update, providing you with more powerful and flexible nodes.

In addition to increasing your ability to control connector actions, Autodesk added notifications when duplicate packages load to nodes. They have responded to your request for better control over large schedules.

Design Automation API for Revit

There is an open API for Revit Design Automation available to developers. Third-party apps can access Revit data from the cloud using the Design Automation API without install data. Simplify tasks and increase productivity with cloud automation workflows.

Load Steel Connection from libraries & analyze Results using Dynamo Nodes

You’ve always wished that Dynamo could load steel connections from your Revit libraries. It might be worth evaluating steel connections from past projects to fit your current project. Dynamo nodes let you load steel connection types from external libraries, including those from previous projects, and then model structural designs faster.

You are looking for scripts that will help you choose, filter, and place steel connections based on the defining parameter. Dynamo workflows can import structural analysis data from Robot Structural Analysis Professional into Revit.
